Are you in a cult?

These guys have taken the crowdfunding pitch video and elevated it to an art form. There’s something about the music, the mesmerizing voices … it just makes me want to give them money:

_

When Aiden and Ronan came by a few weeks ago to borrow my home-made slider, I didn’t realize they were making a fake cult recruitment video for a film about people accidentally forming a cult. I think it’s hilarious.

In all sincerity, I’ve known these guys since before they were in high school. They’ve been making very good short films this entire time. I know some of their crew members and if anyone can make a feature film for 10 grand, it’s these kids.

Why support the project? I’m kind of a non-fiction guy, but sometimes fiction is the best vehicle to explore complex social questions. With this film they appear intent on tackling the alienation, ironic detachment, and search for authenticity particular to our generation. Anyone who thinks that’s a frivolous pursuit should look at voter participation rates.

Sure, sometimes it takes a bit of irony to get the ball rolling. But I think their desire to understand themselves and their peers — and make a really good movie in the process — is sincere. They’ve already rallied a talented creative community around the project, meaning the gear is donated and the crew is working for free. Still, they need to feed and transport people.

They’ve just put up an Indiegogo campaign page: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/crusade-pt-1-good-news

Please consider chipping in a few bucks!

Sounds good, sincere and honest. Just reflecting dilemma of the majority of our lost young generation forced to participate in never ending and constantly accelerating rats’ race for more. It is only good for a few individuals pest-ing later on the exploited financially/intellectually majority.

Today, if you are young/gifted, work hard, pay for the best university, but after finishing it will still not be able to find a job that can cover such big investments/work. Why? Because you do not belong to certain/special category of people that in former communist countries were openly named as ‘nomenclature’. It also exist here, but it is forbidden to talk about as we can be accused of …. or labelled as conspiracy …. . -haha!
Yes, our brainwashed by the mainstream media majority will say: It is not true as look for example we can look at Obama. He was able to get so high position when definitely not belonging to the present ‘nomenclature’. The best will be to use statistics for such typical argumentation. Surely, such people exist (system’s lapdogs), but 1 per 100-1000 and for only PR propaganda purposes. Those a few (statistically) elevated slaves/puppets are surrounded by outnumbering them ‘nomenclature’. The same was with Bush and other ‘presidentos’. The last true politician who dared to realize its own programs without close consultation/approval of the biggest financial spheres was JFK. His ‘special end’ constantly sends strong messages for today (yesterday) mannequins like Merkel, Cammeron, Holland, Sarkozy, Harper etc. Their constant task is: How to fool the public when at the same time mastering the art of reading minds of the real rulers of our corrupted by a few global world.

Many people know it well, but as intellectual collaborators and opportunists prefer pretending that everything is OK. In this way many people still believe that this social/economical/political system is fair, but young. They are too’ fresh’ to be fully indoctrinated and many from them oppose this system. Some on political platforms and some more spiritually like those 7 from the film trying to show other dimensions/perspective for the viewers. Together (political and spiritual groups) they can create better future society and helping them with this relatively small cash should be supported.

Something great/powerful is in the air and today’s sick status quo paralyzing so many shall collapse soon!
    Can we/I say Amen?
